Right now, the best high school senior basketball players are deciding where to go to college. This is an important decision because you have to go to college to get into the NBA. The NBA requires you to go to college for at least a year, and if you’re on a great college team you’ll be more well-known when NBA draft time comes.

Here are the top 5 college recruits in the country and where they are going to school.

  1. R. J. Barrett Jr. is from Ontario, Canada. He’s 6’7” and plays small forward and most scouts consider him the number one recruit right now. He is committed to playing for Duke.
  2. Zion Williamson is from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is 6’6 and plays power forward. He’s an awesome dunker. He is also going to Duke.
  3. Cam Reddish is from Norristown, Pennsylvania. He’s 6’7” and plays small forward. And you won’t believe this… he is ALSO GOING TO DUKE!
  4. Bol Bol is from Henderson Nevada. He was born is South Sudan and his dad is NBA great Manute Bowl. He’s super tall – he is already 7’2 and he plays center. He’s going to play for Oregon.
  5. Romeo Langford is from New Albany, Indiana. He’s 6’6” and plays Shooting Guard. He is being recruited by a ton of the top basketball schools like Vanderbilt, Kansas and Indiana, but he said he’s not deciding where to go until the season is over.

I can’t wait to see if anybody can compete with Duke this year, and hopefully Michigan basketball will get some great high school seniors also so we can beat Duke!
