The 2017 NBA season is well under way.  The Boston Celtics are off to a great start and after beating the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday  have officially won 13 games in a row.  Their current record is 13-2.  Here are a few reasons why I think the Boston Celtics are playing so well.

You may remember Gordon Hayward’s horrible injury in the first game of the regular season.  Everybody thought the Celtics would be in trouble after that.  But I think the opposite happened.  I think the Celtics hustled and everyone worked even harder to make up for Hayward and his injury.

The next reason I think the Celtics are playing so well is obviously Kyrie Irving.  When people say Kyrie Irving, the first thing that comes to their mind is ELITE ball handling.  Kyrie is averaging 20.6 points a game, 5.2 assists, and 3.1 rebounds.  It’s awesome to see Kyrie shine without being in Lebrons shadow.

The last reason I think the Celtics are playing so well is that the younger players are working well with the veterans.  Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have been great to watch and you can see the team getting better and better as the season goes on.

Buckle up fellow Celtics fans! I hope it’s a great ride!
