Hello sportsfans!  My name is Owen Rose and I am this week’s guest writer for The Bleacher Boys.  I am 9 years old and a 4th grader from Haworth, New Jersey.  Let’s talk about The NY Giants.
Along with Odell Beckham Jr.,  Sterling Shepard, Brandon Marshall, Olivier Vernon,  the New York Football Giants have lost a lot of players to injuries. Those playmakers may be out for the whole year which could hurt the Giants ability to make the playoffs.

Besides the injuries, which can’t be helped, the New York Giants need to do something with their offensive line. The Giants aren’t giving  2-time Super Bowl winning champion and MVP,  Eli Manning, enough time to pass to his receivers. Although he doesn’t have the option to throw to Pro Bowler OBJ, he still needs enough time to pass to his younger receivers.

The lack of an offensive line has also hurt the running game.   Having one of the worst running games in the NFL, the Giants offense is in huge trouble.

At the beginning of the season, the Giants had one of the best defenses in the NFL.  Now not only are they not having a good offensive year but their defense is struggling especially with the loss of their great linebacker Olivier Vernon.  With Jason Pierre Paul and Landon Collins still in the lineup, Big Blue’s defense still has hope to get better.

If  the Giants can get a better offensive line and get some of their injured players back their season might turn around.  Hang in there Giants fans!
