This Thursday is the 2017 NBA draft and a lot of draft experts are saying that this is one of the best drafts in a long time. Most people think Markelle Fultz will be the first pick and go to the Sixers and then Lonzo Ball is probably going second to the Lakers.  But after that there are a lot of really good players who will be picked.

I watched a lot of Kentucky basketball this year and 2 players from the team, De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk, should be picked early.  They are both great guards. There is also Josh Jackson from Kansas – he is a great dunker and defender.  Also Jason Tatum from Duke, Jonathan Isaac from Florida State and Dennis Smith, Jr from NC State could be great pros.

I’m so excited to watch the draft because maybe these players could one day be as good as the best players from the 2003 draft.  The 2003 draft was amazing.  Some of the best players from that draft were LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Maybe someday we will look back at the 2017 draft the same way.
