The NBA season is almost over and there are a few people in the running for MVP. The top 5 are: Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Isaiah Thomas and LeBron James.  All of them are awesome ballers but only one can be MVP.

I think that honor should go to Russell Westbrook and here’s why:

Westbrook is on OKC and he does so many things for his team that he averages a triple double in games for the season. That means he gets 10 or more assists, rebounds and points in a game. Without his scoring all the time, his team wouldn’t be in the playoffs. Also, he’s a great teammate. He makes his teammates better by giving them the ball a lot and not being a ball hog like someone I know on the Knicks. Finally, he plays with a lot of heart. He does everything fast and plays hard in every game.

The rest of the guys in the running are great also. All of them average over 25 points per game but no one touches Westbrooks 31.6 points per game. And all of them have ok rebound averages, but again, Westbrook has the most.

We’ll have to wait a few weeks to see who really gets chosen, but Westbrook is my top choice. Maybe he could teach that guy on the Knicks a few things.
